One standard close
across every client.

Month-end close software for accounting and bookkeeping firms whose clients run on QuickBooks Online. Fynease is the close layer after the bookkeeping: schedules, balance sheet reconciliation and sign-off, intercompany and consolidation, with the approved adjusting entries written back to QuickBooks Online. Every client closes the same way, reviewed and signed off by name, and the same closed books produce a monthly management briefing, so the firm can offer advisory without building reports by the hour.

Every client's close,
and which one needs you first.

The portfolio home shows every client the firm closes: close progress for the month, the last closed month, how fresh the data is, and the next action. Clients that are behind sort to the top, so the week's work is planned before anyone opens a client file.

Fynease portfolio home for six clients: close progress for August 2026, last closed month, data freshness and the next action for each, with the two clients whose data is one and two months behind sorted to the top

Where Fynease fits

Your bookkeeping stays where it is.
Fynease runs the month end.

Fynease does not code transactions or run bank feeds. It picks up when the month's bookkeeping is done and turns it into a closed, reviewed month for every client.

Stays with your bookkeeping

The day-to-day

Transaction coding, bank feeds and reconciliation, bills and invoices, payroll. They stay in QuickBooks Online and whichever tools your firm already uses.

Fynease

The month-end close

Prepaid, deferred revenue, fixed asset, loan and lease schedules; every balance sheet account tied to its source and signed off; intercompany and consolidation for clients with several companies; approved adjusting entries posted back to QuickBooks Online; lead sheets for year end.

The same close, whoever runs it.

A close that lives in each accountant's workbook changes with the person doing it. In Fynease the logic is set up once per client and runs every month, so the firm's standard is the product's standard.

📋

One close for the whole roster

Every client closes through the same steps, in the same order, with the same evidence. New staff learn one workflow, not a folder of client spreadsheets.

Review built into the close

Each balance sheet account moves through Prepared, Reviewed and Signed off, stamped with who and when. Review and sign-off are limited to the roles you allow, and staff are assigned to the clients they work on.

📂

Year end already assembled

Every adjustment carries its source and its approver. Lead sheets show each balance sheet account, its entries and its tie to the schedule, ready for the year-end file or the auditor.

What is tied and signed, and what is left for your team.

Accounts that tie to their source are signed off or carried forward automatically. What remains is the short list that needs a person, account by account, with the gap shown rather than hidden. Once a client's schedules are confirmed, their monthly entries can be booked automatically at month end, ready to send to QuickBooks Online in one step.

From closing the books to advising on them.

Advisory is usually held back by the hours it takes to turn a close into something a client can act on. In Fynease the close produces that as well: a monthly management briefing for each client, from the same reconciled books.

  • Five lanes every month (revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, EBITDA, cash and runway), each answering what happened, why, what happens next and what to do about it.
  • Every figure traces to the ledger and the schedules, so the conversation with the client starts from numbers the firm has already reviewed.
  • Forecasts, a 13-week cash view and board packs from the same data, when a client is ready for more.
  • The client's management team can be given access to the briefing and analysis for their own company.

Questions from accounting and bookkeeping firms

What Fynease does and does not do, moving clients into advisory, pricing for a roster, and staff and client access.

Does Fynease do the bookkeeping?
No. Fynease is the close layer after the bookkeeping. Transaction coding, bank feeds, bills and invoices stay in QuickBooks Online or whichever bookkeeping tool your firm uses. Fynease starts at month end: it reads the ledger, runs the schedules, reconciles and signs off every balance sheet account, and writes the approved adjusting entries back to QuickBooks Online.
How does pricing work for a firm?
Plans are priced by capacity, in US dollars, billed monthly: how many clients and how many entities (companies) you close. Starter covers 1 client and 3 entities, Solo 3 clients and 10 entities, Firm 5 clients and 15 entities, Scale 10 clients and 30 entities. Extra clients are $129 a month and extra entities $35 at early bird rates. Automate and Intelligence are included in every plan; Valuation is an optional add-on, priced per client.
Can the firm offer advisory with Fynease?
Yes. Once a client's month is closed, Fynease produces a management briefing for that client from the same books: ranked findings across revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, EBITDA, and cash and runway, with forecasts, a 13-week cash view and board packs available when the client needs them. Automate and Intelligence are both included in every plan, so moving a client from close to advisory does not change the subscription.
Can each staff member see only the clients they work on?
Yes. Staff are assigned to the clients they work on, and each assignment carries the parts of Fynease that person can use. Reviewing and signing off an account is limited to the roles you allow, so the reviewer on a close is a decision, not an accident.
Can our clients log in?
A client's management team can be given access to Analysis for their own company only: the monthly briefing and the analysis behind it. They cannot see the close, the schedules or any other client. There is no separate client portal.
What about clients that are not on QuickBooks Online?
They join through a monthly trial balance or general ledger export in CSV or Excel, and close through the same workflow. Write-back is to QuickBooks Online only, so their adjusting entries are posted in their own system.
Is one client's data kept apart from another's?
Yes. Each firm's data is isolated at the database level, and each client's data is separated within the firm. Fynease staff do not access customer data, except to diagnose a technical issue you report, and only with your consent.
