KPIs

KPIs are set up in Client Settings and shown in Analysis, on the KPIs tab.

Setting up

• Start from a sector pack: standard, SaaS, services, manufacturing, real estate, retail or restaurant.
• Choose which KPIs show, group them, and set a target for each.
• Build your own with a formula, using financial figures, a ledger account, an account group or another KPI, and test it before saving. Formulas are arithmetic and comparisons only; nothing is executed as a script.

Targets and runway

A scorecard shows each KPI against its target and the prior year, knowing whether higher or lower is better. Runway uses trailing complete months, and a business that is profitable over the window reads as profitable rather than as a number of months.
